So, every year a huge percentage of us make the pilgrimage to the sparkly lights and festive flush of Olympia Horse Show. Every penny we have saved doing all of our Christmas shopping on Black Friday, goes into a pot, reserved for the all-important shopping village. This year will be no different!
There are a few places that I will be sure to pay a visit and I thought I would share those with you…
First STOP – The BAR (Obviously) get yourself a beverage; mulled wine, prosecco, large pinot… whatever wets your whistle.
Next Stop – READYSUPP – on stand G125. They have a WHOPPING 25% off EVERYTHING! I have been using the Joint Care and highly recommend it – the percentage of active ingredients in all of their products is much higher than most other off the shelf products, not one to be walked past when you can save so much!
THERMATEX – on stand C1. We all know the quality, that speaks for itself – you will get some great discounts if you speak nicely to them and be able to order in any colour and any of the products if they don’t have what you are looking for on the day! I personally am in the market for an original cooler in navy or denim with a pink or sky trim for next season… fingers crossed!
THE BAR (Again). You’ve worked hard getting around the first few lanes – go grab another mulled wine, it will lubricate the bank cards sliding out of our purse if nothing else!
HORSE HEALTH – Stand C15. I dare anyone to walk by this one without a look! I am a closet dressage whore and love a bit of matching tat to dress up in… who knows what I’ll come out with from here but they usually have some super show deals on saddle cloths – might try my hand a bartering on one of the Acavallo seat savers for my chaffed bottom!!
KASK – Stand G82 . Even if you don’t buy anything – go for a look, they have a range of the most beautiful helmets, quite a new brand to the UK and will be rivals of the KEP before you know it!
UPTOWN E STORE – G2 at the top of the stairs. Going to try and grab myself a XC stopwatch now that BE have legalised them at all levels for 2017 and their super-duper events calendar to start planning my season.
The rest of my Christmas bonus is likely to go on ROYAL EQUESTRIAN – Stand G112 – and the Official Merchandise Stand – GH7 – Not for a hoody that all under 18’s wear stating which shows they attended – but for the Ariat FEI merchandise which is blinking lovely!!
If that’s not enough – go back to the bar, and have a whizz round Fairfax and Favor – you’ll need a drink to eyeball the prices but lubricated enough, there will be something lovely that catches your eye for sure! Most of all – Have an absolute riot, we only get to feel this festive and frivolous a few times a year so get into the spirit and take a leaf out of my book….
